12 held for property feud

Delhi News: Twelve persons were arrested following a fight over a property, in Green Park on Monday night. A case of rioting has been registered at the Hauz Khas police station.

According to the police, Radheyshyam Sharma, Ghanshyam Sharma and Rakesh Sharma are brothers and owned three floors of a house in Green Park.

Trouble erupted after one of the brother Rakesh Sharma sold second floor of the house to one Kiran Kaur and settled elsewhere. On Monday night, the other two brothers allegedly assaulted the guard of second floor. Among those arrested, seven were from Sharma’s side, while other five were from Kiran Kaur’s side.

Sharma runs a small shop and had been living in the area for past several years, the police said.
